For too long people have had to 'do' security. Systems have been built to turn people into logical machines. We want to help you face the complexity head on. By doing this we can than break it down into manageable, creative and innovative approaches.

Who are we?

We are a team of experts and as the lead, I transform traditional security practices by embedding human factors, systems thinking, and a willingness to challenge conventional norms. With a background working for the UK government and strong ties to leading academic researchers, I bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world application.

In industry, I’ve built on that foundation to help organisations align security with the way people naturally work—making it more intuitive, sustainable, and effective. My creative, people-first approach enables teams to reimagine their security strategies, fostering safer environments through collaboration and innovation.

I believe in learning from individuals, harnessing their unique strengths, and creating space for them to lead the way.

I have brought this approach and the creativity to working at the LEGO Group and Natwest Bank.

I also help advise vendors on how to grow their product to make it stand out in a very saturated market.

National Cyber Security Centre

One of the founding members of the Sociotechnical security team who helped set up the RISCS (Research Institute in Sociotechnical Security). During my tenure, I became the Technical Lead for the CyberAware programme and the free security awareness course Top Tips for Staff.

The driving force behind all the work I do, is to bring a strategic approach to the long term building blocks to security. Influencing projects across work places to consider elements of security by thinking through issues around; human factors, psychology and behavioural economics. Bringing a multi-disciplinary approach that is based on existing practices and culture in a workplace.
Understanding behaviour is more than thinking it needs to change.
